Both Houses have a dedicated and very experienced House Manager.
Our amazing staff provide a familiar and comforting daily presence, ensuring that conversation, help and support are available when needed.
Our turnover of staff is very low and we believe that this speaks clearly to what a friendly place Abbeyfield is for both living and working.
This consistency helps us build meaningful relationships with residents and their families, creating a warm and welcoming community where everyone feels supported, respected, and valued.
Training and Professional Development
Delivering the highest possible standards
All Abbeyfield professional staff are qualified to NVQ level 2 & 3 in Health and Social Care and are DBS checked.
We invest in our employees by providing ongoing professional development. This helps to ensure that we continue to deliver the highest possible standards.
All of our staff receive regular training and attend annual update courses. Ongoing training includes the latest in health and safety regulations, food hygiene and bereavement training.
